Rapture

Matthew 24:

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

History

"The concept of the rapture, in connection with pre-millennialism, was expressed by the American Puritans Increase and Cotton Mather. They held to the idea that believers would be caught up in the air, followed by judgments on the earth and then the millennium. [1] [2] The term rapture was used by Philip Doddridge (1738) and John Gill (1748) in their New Testament commentaries, with the idea that believers would be caught up prior to judgment on the earth and Jesus' Second Coming. The concept of a pre-tribulation rapture was articulated by Baptist Morgan Edwards in an essay published in 1788 in Philadelphia.[3]"

"There exists at least one 18th century and two 19th century pre-Tribulation references, in a book published in 1788, in the writings of a Catholic priest Emmanuel Lacunza in 1812, and by John Darby himself in 1827. However, both the book published in 1788 and the writings of Lacunza have opposing views regarding their interpretations, as well.

The rise in belief in the "pre-Tribulation" rapture is sometimes attributed to a 15-year old Scottish-Irish girl named Margaret MacDonald (a follower of Edward Irving), who in 1830 had a vision that was later published in 1861.

The popularization of the term is associated with teaching of John Nelson Darby, prominent among the Plymouth Brethren, and the rise of pre-millennialism and dispensationalism in English-speaking Churches at the end of the 19th century. In 1908, the doctrine of the rapture was further popularized by an evangelist named William Eugene Blackstone, whose book, Jesus Is Coming, sold more than one million copies. The following year, 1909, the Scofield Reference Bible, which teaches the pre-Tribulation rapture, was published; by 1930 it had sold 1 million copies, and as of 2007 has sold 5 million copies.

In 1957, Dr. John Walvoord, a theologian at Dallas Theological Seminary, authored a book, "The Rapture Question," that gave theological support to the pre-Tribulation rapture; this book eventually sold over 65,000 copies. In 1958, J. Dwight Pentecost authored another book supporting the pre-Tribulation rapture, Things to Come: A Study in Biblical Eschatology, that sold 215,000 copies.

During the 1970s, the rapture became popular in wider circles, in part due to the books of Hal Lindsey, including The Late Great Planet Earth, which has reportedly sold between 15 million to 35 million copies. Lindsey proclaimed that the rapture was imminent, an idea which he based on world conditions at the time. The Cold War and the European Economic Community figured prominently in his predictions of impending Armageddon. Other aspects of 1970s global politics were seen as having been predicted in the Bible. Lindsey suggested, for example, that the seven-headed beast with ten horns, cited in Revelation, was the European Economic Community, a forebear of the European Union, which at the time aspired to ten nations; it now has 27 member states.

In 1995, the doctrine of the pre-Tribulation rapture was further popularized by Tim LaHaye's book series, Left Behind, which sold tens of millions of copies and was made into several movies."

Introduction

In no way does this article mean to question anyone’s Christian faith.  This article calls into question the validity of commonly taught traditions.  It is my opinion that most people that believe Christian traditions are good souls that have been taught by family and Church without truly checking for accuracy themselves.  This belief is so engrained into our belief system that many are uncomfortable to even consider otherwise.  It may be surprising to some, but the word “Rapture” is not used one time in any King James Version; Reference Strong’s Concordance.

Many would be surprised to learn that Easter is a pagan holiday.  The word "Easter" is used once in the bible (Acts 12:4), and should have been translated "Passover" into English.  Easter is a holiday created for the pagan fertility God Ishtar.  That is the reason Easter symbols are eggs, and the fertile rabbits.  Though in their minds Christians are not worshipping Ishtar, but many Christians will take part in the Easter holiday.

Some teach that Christ will return before the Tribulation period discussed in the book of Revelations; often referred to as the "Any Moment Doctrine" or "Rapture Theory". Others teach that Christ will return in the middle of the Tribulation period; others at the end.  As a believer in the Rapture, are you willing to bet your soul that Scofield is correct in his commentary?

It is important to note that pre, mid, and post Tribulation beliefs all agree that the true Christ has not returned as long as we are in flesh bodies.  However, I would like to add that if God had not shortened the days, even the elect would have been deceived.  If the Anti-Christ could be convincing to the very elect before his arrival, anyone looking for the first Messiah would be at a disadvantage if the Rapture Theory is not true.

Matthew Study

Matthew 24

1. And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

2. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

The Second Temple was destroyed in 70  A.D. by the Roman army during the Great Jewish Revolt, but the Western Wall still remains today.  When Christ returns at the end, he will completely destroy the Western Wall along with the temple.

3. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Important: The subject starting at the end of verse 3 is when will “end of the world happen” or when will the “temple be completely destroyed”.

4. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Jesus says first to strongly beware to not let ANYONE deceive you.

5. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

There will be many false teachers and many will follow them. There have been false teachers throughout the ages, but the subject here is the end time.

6. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

If there are wars or war rumors, it is not the end. There will be no peace until the true Christ returns.

7. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

The beginning of the end will contain wars, famine, and deep rooted disasters (spiritually and physically). Christ has NOT returned yet.

Reference:Revelation 11

1. And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein

2. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

3. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

4. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

5. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

6. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

7. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

9. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

12. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

13. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

10. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

There will be many false prophets rise before the end. Christ has NOT returned yet.

12. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Through false prophets, the love of true Christ will be diminished by the nations.

13. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Those who endure to the end through all the false teachings and deceptions, will be saved when the true Christ return.

14. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Those who remain faithful to the end and who preach the truth to the world, will be saved when the true Christ return.

Reference: Mark 13

11: But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is no ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

15. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Entire section reserved for Daniel – later.

16. Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

The people will flee Christ due to their fear and shame.

17. Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18. Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Time has ran out and Christ is returning very soon. Worldly possessions are worthless at this time.

19. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

So called Christians (and every other religion) have been drunken and seduced by the reign of Anti-Christ. It’s like a groom (Christ) who has been away, returning to his bride to find the unfaithful bride (Israel) with a child at his return.

20. But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Pray to have the knowledge to understand the season of Christs return. To be in flight in the winter is deadly; spiritually in this case. Don’t get caught fleeing due to shame when the true Christ arrives. For Christians, Christ is our sabbath.

21. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

The seduction of Anti-Christ is very powerful to even the elect. Those that do not have the knowledge to know what is happening beforehand do not have a chance.

23. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

Do not follow false Christs’ or their prophets who perform miraculous feats. Miracles designed to attempt to deceive Gods chosen people.

24. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Do not follow false Christs’ or their prophets who perform miraculous feats. Miracles designed to attempt to deceive Gods chosen people.

25. Behold, I have told you before.

Christ has warned us before the fact of what will happen through the Bible.

26. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

Don’t believe it if anyone tells you Christ is here. When the true Christ returns there will be no doubt who is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Every knee will bow at his return.

27. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

When Christ returns, he will quickly take care of business as in verse 29.

28. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

ReferenceJob 39:

16. She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;

17. Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

18. What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.

19. Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?

20. Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible.

21. He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men.

22. He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword.

23. The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield.

24. He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet.

25. He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.

26. Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?

27. Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?

28. She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.

29. From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.

30. Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.

Reference:Mark 4

 1.  And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.

 2.  And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,

 3.  Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

 4.  And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

...

 13.  And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

 14.  The sower soweth the word.

 15.  And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

29. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

"After” the deceptions in the tribulation, heaven and earth will be changed.

30. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And then and only then (after the tribulation), Christ will return with multitude (clouds of heaven) of saints (stars of heaven) with power and glory.

31. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

At his coming, Christ will send his angels to separate the wheat from the tares. The trumpet indicates action. This is the last trump, the 7th trump, the trump that is the farthest one out.

Reference: I Corinthians 15:

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

32.Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

Not long after Jesus returned to the Father (70 A.D.), the Romans under the leadership of Titus completely destroyed the temple in Jerusalem and dispersed the Jews (children of Judah and Cain - good and bad figs) from the land of Israel.  Jesus said learn the “Parable of the Fig Tree”. Christ did not say "maybe we should look at it when we get around to it"; he said LEARN it.

When Israel became a nation in May 1948, both the good and bad figs returned and were planted in the Holy Land as in the days when Jesus walked the earth. The bad figs (tares) are children of Cain, and the good figs (wheat) are children of the Tribe of Judah.  Both the good and bad figs refer to themselves as Jews.  The sons of Cain are no more from a tribe of Judah than the Federal Reserve System is part of the U.S. government.  Names can be deceptive and many times are used by Kenites for deception.  This nation of Israel would produce leaves, but Kenites (children of Cain) would prevent this nation from producing fruit (Matthew 21:19).

Reference:  Jeremiah 24:

1. The Lord shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the Lord, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.

2. One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.

3. Then said the Lord unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

4. Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

5. Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.

6. For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

7. And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the Lord: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

8. And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the Lord, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:

9. And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them.

10. And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.

33. So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

What generation is this? The generation at the end of the world. The fig tree was planted in May 1948. The good and bad fig returned to the Promised Land.

35. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Only the Father knows the exact time that Christ will return. Why?  Because only the Father knows the true hearts of men, and only the Father knows when every one of his children have had the opportunity to go through this current earth age.

37. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

How were the days of Noah? The children of Adam were giving and taking in marriage to the fallen angels producing offspring.  This was another of Satan’s attempts to disrupt Gods plan by upsetting the natural genealogy Adams descendants through which Christ would come.  The neither women nor angels were giants, but their hybrid offspring were.  The situation was getting worse, so God brought the flood to destroy these beings.  This union was evil then, and it will happen again.

Reference:  Genesis 6:

1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

38. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

What do farmers (or workers) do in the field? They work, plant, sow, and work the field of the world. The rapture teaches that you want to be the one taken and fly away.

Reference: Matthew 13: 36-43 The Parable of The Wheat and The Tares is Explained

36. Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38. The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39. The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

41. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42. And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

41. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Be a watchman. You will not know the exact time, but, you will know the season.

43. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

If you know the hour of the thief, the thief will not take you by surprise; and your house will remain intact. You have been fore warned, so be ready.

44. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Be prepared with knowledge to escape the hour of temptation. Otherwise, you will not know what is going on until it is too late.

45. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

If you are a wise and faithful servant, the lord will give you the required knowledge when it is needed.

46. Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

It is better to be found sowing seed or working in the mill, than to be reaped out of season.

47. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49. And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50. The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

Like the days of Noah, they will not know what hit them; even though they were warned of the season beforehand.  Everyone on earth caught unaware (without understanding of the season), will be snared and seduced by the deception of Anti-Christ.  It may appear to the wicked that true justice is delayed for Gods servants.  Pray for knowledge of truth, you will not be tempted by lies nor deception, and escape the hour of temptation.

Reference:  Luke 21:

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

51. And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Nowhere does it say that you don't need to understand (such as the book of Revelation), because you are going to be gone anyway.  From what I get is basically a servant of God should be prepared and seek knowledge before this day arrives so we will be prepared.  In the days of Noah, many just did not care about the truth.  Many think life is good, and I don't have time for this.  One day we will all have time - it's called Judgment Day.  On that day what are we to say to our maker?  Is it just too hard to understand?  I tell you it is very hard when you don't try or care for understanding by opening the book.  Neither is it smart to take this man's nor someone else's word for your eternal future.  You can't blame someone else, check everything out for yourself.  This is not a scare tactic; that is just the way it is.

Reference:  Matthew 7

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

----

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Thessalonians Study

Important:  Do not lose the subject:  The subject is "where are the dead".

1 Thessalonians 4:

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

"asleep" in Greek means to decease, to be dead physically (not spiritually). This is talking about people that are already physically dead; not people that are living on earth at the coming of Christ. The second our flesh body dies, our soul goes back to our Father who gave it. Our Father is a God of the living, not the dead.

Reference: Ecclesiastes 12

7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

We can take comfort knowing that our loved ones who have passed on are with God our Father and not lying in a hole in the ground. The flesh body stays in the ground and returns to dirt, but our soul goes back to God who originally planted it into the flesh body. The people that have no hope are those that do not believe in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God.

Reference: Luke 16

19. There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21. And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28. For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

This is talking about people that have passed on that believed in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. When the true Christ returns, he will return with the saints that have returned to heaven through the ages. However, also beware that when Satan returns as Anti-Christ, he will bring his angels with him.

Reference: Revelation 12

7. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8. And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

Prevent means to precede beforehand, to have arrived at already. We are still talking about where the dead are the subject has not changed. This verse tells us that people that have died are already with God. The people alive when Jesus returns will not be with Jesus before the people that have already passed away because they are already there.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

This is talking about the second coming of Jesus. Jesus will come at the seventh trump (last trump) and not before the seventh trump. Those that have died already rise first because they are already with Jesus. The second we die we go back to God our Father.

Reference #1: Revelation 11

15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.”

Reference #2: I Corinthians 15

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Reference #3Matthew 24

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, And they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And He shall send His angles with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Clouds are symbolic for a mass of people and were simply a “figure of speech” at the time it was spoken. Air is referring to the “breath of life”, or eternal life being forever with the lord – 1st resurrection.

Reference: Hebrews 12

1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

When Jesus returns at the seventh trump the people alive on earth at that time will be changed into their spiritual bodies in the twinkling of an eye.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

We can comfort our loved ones and friends when they lose some one they love because we can tell them where their loved ones are when they pass away. The moment someone dies they go back to God our Father. You may be surprised to know that God's word does say something about people teaching you to fly away to try to save your soul. Let’s go to Ezekiel 13.

Reference:  Ezekiel 13:

16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD

Prophets teaching future peace in Jerusalem are false.

17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,

God says true teachers should speak against those who teach from their own heart, or tell people what they want to hear.

18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?

Unfortunate for those who use false comfort to misguide the souls of the people. False teachers hunt the souls of Gods people Will those who believe the false teachers be saved by their false teachings?

19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?

Will you pollute the truth to Gods people for personal gain? Will false teachers withhold spiritual food causing Gods peoples souls to die, and save the souls of those that should not be saved by teaching lies? Believing lies may give tempory comfort, but it will not last.

20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

God is against the teaching of a quick comfortable escape to save your soul. God is against people that teach flying of souls. God will rip away the deceptive teaching of letting the souls escape, even those false teachers who hunted souls teach them to fly.

21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

God will remove deception, and make sure the truth is revealed to those who should understand. False teachers make the righteous sad because Gods children are being deceived by falsely teaching a quick easy escape to eternal life.

23 Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

God will not put up with false teachers and their practices. God will free his people from the false teachers and they will know the truth. Rapture promises:

1> false peace or easy way through the tribulation period, and

2> souls will be saved through flying away.

Why would the rapture teaching be offensive to God? The rapture teaches people to be looking for the true Christ to come first. Rapture is appealing to many because they want a quick escape with no hardships.  Ever hear a teacher say, "You there is no need to understand the book of Revelation because you will be gone anyway."  If a Christian doesn't need to understand the Word of God, then who is this book written for?  Do they think it is there to take up space?  Anyone that would say such a thing does not have understanding, and evidently they don't want or care for you to even try and understand.  We should all strive to understand ALL of our Fathers word to the best of our ability.

II Thessalonians 2:

1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

Beseech means to ask or request a person to do something. This is telling us to pay attention because this tells us what must happen before we return to Jesus.

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

This is saying don't be worried or confused by any message (not even our first message) concerning the return of the true Christ.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Don't let anyone deceive you. This verse tells us that Jesus will not return until 1> many are deceived, and 2> the son of perdition be revealed. Perdition means to perish and die or cease to exist. Satan (king of Tyrus/Pharaoh analogy) is the only entity who has been sentenced to death by God before judgment day (white throne judgment).

Reference: Ezekiel 28

11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

8. The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chesnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

9. I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.

10. Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;

11. I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.

12. And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.

13. Upon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches:

14. To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.

15. Thus saith the Lord God; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

16. I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

17. They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.

18. To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord God.

12.  While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Thy name: those that Thou gavest Me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

II Thessalonians verse 3 tells us that Jesus will not come for anyone until the “son of perdition” is revealed. Jesus will not come for anyone until that happens. Satan is the one that deceives the world and that can be read in Revelation 12:7-9 and 20:10

Reference: Revelation 12

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Reference: Revelation 20

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Satan will play the role of Anti-Christ, and he will return to this earth with supernatural powers. Many will be deceived and think that he is Jesus here to rapture them away. Satan will sit in the temple of God which is in Jerusalem.

5. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

Now you know what will withhold the return of the true Christ until the appointed time. Satan will be allowed reign a short time on earth as Anti-Christ until taken out of the way at the return of the True Christ. The mystery of the 4 Hidden Dynasties have been at work since the time of Paul to prepare the world for Satan’s' reign.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

This is when Satan is on this earth saying he is Jesus here to rescue you from this evil world. Then the true Jesus returns to earth as King of kings and Lord of lords. Every knee will bow and Satan is bound for a thousand years.

Let review above (II Thessalonians 2:1-8)

1 – Let talk about gathering back to Christ

2 – Don’t worry, let’s look at the return of Christ

3 – Christ will NOT return until 1> many are deceived and 2> Son of Perdition is exposed

4 – Son of Perdition acts like he is God

5.- The above will happen when God is ready

6 – Deception will continue until God removes the Son of Perdition

7 – Son of Perdition revealed and destroyed by return of Christ

Let’s simplify this in a simple sentence form in order.

1> Many people are deceived.

2> The Son of Perdition will reign as a God.

3> Christ returns and removes the Son of Perdition from power.

I think it would not be correct to reverse the order and say:

1> Christ returns and removes all Christians (except for his elect).

2> Son of Perdition reigns as God.

3> Many people are deceived.

4> Next the rapture theory comes back and restates 1> Christ returns (again).

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Many will be deceived by Satan because he is the king of deception, so they did not receive the truth.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Why would God send delusion? Because many simply have no intention on trying to find the truth either because:

1> they don’t want to take the time to study, or

2> feel the truth is not attainable due to confusion through many beliefs, or

3> peer pressure through traditions.

Also, if they are weak, in the end it might be better because if they know the truth and follow Anti-Christ anyway, this is the unforgivable sin. God shortened the days because if he hadn’t, even the elect would have been deceived.

Reference: Matthew 24:

22 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no nor ever shall be.

23 And except those days should be shortened there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Eternal life will escape those who willing perfer believing what they want too; rather than accepting the truth.

Daniel Study

Important: "The End" is referring to the coming of Christ.  The subject is the "Vile Person".  Daniel Chapter 10 and 11:1-20 was history, while Chapter 11:21+ is future.

Chapter 11:

21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honor of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

From the King of the North (symbolic of Persian Empire; possibly Iran), the "Vile Person” is the antichrist (Satan, Son of Perdition, serpent, dragon, Angel of Death; same entity playing different roles). He is not another succession to the king of the north, but a totally different and unique person. He does not gain power through war, but by peace and flatteries.

22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

The “Vile Person” is armed with a flood of deception. The deception will precede him through the Four Hidden Dynasties.

23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

Through a treaty or covenant (of deception and false peace), the “Vile Person” makes agreements with the kings and becomes strong among a few people. A “small people" are the Kenites (children of Cain, serpents seed, tares, false prophets/scribes) possibly within Israel.

24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

“King of the South” (Southern Kingdom; possibly Egypt) goes to war with the “Vile Person”. The “King of the South” loses.

26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.

27 And both these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

Kings deceive each other with no progress. “The End” has not happened at this point.

28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.

The “Vile Person” will return to his land (Persia). But, later return to attack the “King of the South”. The engagement will be different than before (or after). “King of the South” will inflict damage (possibly through the Tribe of Judah).

30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

Subject is still the “Vile Person”. The holy covenant causes him problems (by those that follow the holy covenant). So, he councils with those who dislike the holy covenant (possibly Kenites within Israel) to correct his problem.

31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

The daily sacrifice is Christ. The sanctuary of strength is the temple. Christ said that one stone would not be standing on top of the other at his return. The abomination that maketh desolate is the Anti-Christ sitting where he should NOT be; in the temple, on a throne in Jerusalem.

32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

The elect will stand firm working the field with the help of the Holy Spirit.

33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

Those that understand will teach truth against the “Vile Person” and must endure hardships. Those that follow the “Vile Person” continue to deceive through peace and flatteries.

34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.

35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

Those that understand teach truth, but they will fail to purge deception to some. The elect will attempt to make the deceived clean through the knowledge of the true Christ. Those that understand will try to help those that do not understand to the bitter end with the help of the Holy Spirit. Yet, the end is not yet. As the “Vile Person” kingdom is established, he becomes a king.

36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Sound familiar?

4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, “Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forth and two months.

6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tougues, and nations.

8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Anti-Christ sitting on the Throne as God being worshiped by the masses. This is an abomination.

38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

Anti-Christ will rule with force. Satan’s father is the true God; So, the true God has never worshipped this fake god. Anti-Christ (Satan) will adorn himself with everything imaginable.

39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

Those who follow and worship Anti-Christ and his system (beast), will reign at this time. This system will increase in strength and prosper, just as old Babylon did under the rule of King Nebuchadnezzar.

40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

Anti-Christ will reign over the world from the Middle East.

44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

These troublers (bruisers) are Gods elect.

45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Son of Perdition (Anti-Christ) is already judged to death. He is a walking dead man and none can help him. He shall come to his end immediately before judgment day (after 1000 year reign of Christ) because he has already been judged.

Chapter 12:

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

At “the end”, Michael (the archangel) will help those whose name is written in the Book of Life.

Reference: Revelation 20:1,2

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

There will be a great time of trouble (tribulation). Gods people will be delivered at the return of Christ.

Reference: Matthew 24: 22-24

22 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no nor ever shall be.

23 And except those days should be shortened there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.

4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

One angel was standing on one side of the Tigrus River, and one angel on the other side of the river.  In other words, one was standing in Iraq, and one was standing in Iran.

6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

There are two conditions that apply to understand these scriptures: 1> it applies only to those living in the end time, and 2> you must understand the scriptures with the help of the Father through the Holy Spirit. If these two conditions don’t exist, there is no way to understand these scriptures. Daniel probably had the wisdom, but he was living at the wrong time to understand its meaning.

10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

The animal sacrifice was replaced (taken away) by the crucifixion of Christ. The abomination is the Anti-Christ sitting in the temple of God in Jerusalem. This period will take 1290 days.

 Reference: Matthew 24:14-15:

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preasched in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

 Reference: Revelation 12

1. And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2. And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

The woman is Israel (12 stars being the tribes) who brought forth the manchild Jesus. The Red dragon has a power structure setup with 10 rulers across 7 dominions. One-third of the souls in heaven follow Satan to earth as fallen angels.

4. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

5. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

6. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Israel brought forth Jesus who will rule ALL nations with a rod of iron at his return. It is thought by many that this wilderness is the North and South American contentents; a place of safety.  From the time Christ was caught up into heaven until Satan is booted from heaven, Israel will be 1290 days on earth.

Satan and his angels are physically removed from heaven by Michael and his angels through the power of Christ. Satan is cast to the earth and will play the role of Anti-Christ.

10. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

13. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

14. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

15. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

16. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

17. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

There is peace in Heaven, but woe to the inhabiters of the earth. Satan had been in heaven before God day and night accusing Gods people. Satan will be very zealous because he knows his time on earth is short. Satan goes after the elect with a flood of deception, but the deception was absorbed by the rest of those on earth. Satan is angry the flood did not reach the chosen few and makes war with Gods elect.

12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

Blessed are those that WAIT 1335 days. Blessed are those who wait for the true Christ.

Proverbs 27:18 Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.

Isaiah 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

James 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Days of Daniel

It is important to understand that according to the Parable of the Fig Tree, the planting of the shoot of the good and bad figs would be the last generation. The shoot was planted in the year of our Lord 1948 (or 1915 years since sacrifice was taken away).  What is a generation? Basically, a generation is a natural life period of a person (Grandfather, Father, and Son make three generations) or a people living during a certain period of time (40 years in the wilderness). As in the example of a life period, the longest period a generation can be is 120 years from Genesis 6:3. IF 120 is the maximum, anytime between 1948 and 2068 can be marked as the last generation. However, God does make exceptions as in Genesis 47:28 where Jacob lived to be 147 years old. In more simplistic terms, a generation is speaking of a period of all people of the world during a specific event.

The following information is NOT intended to mark a specific designated time of the end. However, dates were entered in the book of Daniel for a reason. The following is just presented as information to think about the season, and a reminder that the times and events within our lifetime is a signal for the watchmen to watch. The following information is not complicated.

Daniel 12

11. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

12. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

Daily sacrifice was taken away when Christ died - year around 33AD (estimate)

1948.4 Israel became a nation in May 1948 (planting of the fig tree – Jewish & Kenite people set up @ Jerusalem)

- 33.4 Estimated age of Jesus death 33-AD

---------

1915 years since Christ died / 1290 Daniel days = 1.4845 (one of Daniels days = 1.4845 years)

Approximately 1915 years since Christ died = 1948.4 AD = Planting of Fig Tree = 1948 Arab-Israeli War

1290 * 1.4845 = 1915 (1948 AD) from the time the daily sacrifice shall be taken away until setup of abomination that maketh desolate

1335 * 1.4845 = 1981.8 (Calendar year 2015.8-AD) blessed are those who wait to the return of true Christ

2015.8 (Original Christ Return)

- 3.1 (3.5 shortened to 5 months) 5/12 = 0.4 so 3.5 - 0.4 = 3.1

------------

2012.7 (Theoretical Return of Christ after Tribulation shortened for sake of elect)

To Summarize:

1290 Days = 1948.4 or May 1948 = Setup for the Abomination of Desolation (Anti-Christ)

1335 Days = 2015.8 or September 2015 = Return of True Christ

Note: Season of locust from "May" to "September"

However, God shortened the days for return of True Christ for the elects' sake (Matt 24:22, Mark 13:20, Rev 9:5), SO:

2015.8 - 3.1 = 2012.7 (Theoretical Return of Christ)

VERY IMPORTANT: Remember, no one but the Father knows the exact time and date. So this is NOT indicating Christ must return the year 2012, nor am I claiming such. I'm estimating that Jesus died around 33 A.D., and I'm taking assumptions with the Gregorian calendar.  But "I think" that is okay because the book of Daniel was not written to pin down a specific date but allows a watchman to know the generation and the season.

Do not be taken (deceived) by the false Christ; be the one left working the mill until the true Christ returns. When the Anti-Christ arrives, those that are deceived will be taken from the mill and quit working; they will not be looking for the true Christ and will be ashamed of themselves at his return. Those leaving the mill at the last hour run out of oil and smite fellow servants because of their deception they believe they following the true Christ when actually it is the Anti-Christ.

Matthew 24

32. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33. So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

35. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

41. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46. Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49. And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50. The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51. And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Mark Study

Mark 13

9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues he shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them.

Reference: Luke 21

18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

This is for god’s elect. However, In Rev 11:3-7 the two witnesses will literally be killed and their bodies will be displayed for all on earth to see for 3.5 days. Like Christ, after 3.5 days everyone will see them again when the true Christ returns. Everyone will be transformed (elect will have 1st resurrection, and the dead spiritually will have a body and soul that will last the 1000 millennial period). The spiritually dead will realize they have been suckered and they will be scared and ashamed of themselves for being mentally seduced by Satan and his system.

10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is no ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

The elect will not premeditate what they will say, because God will speak through the elect with the Holy Spirit. The unforgivable sin is for one of Gods elect to prevent the Holy Spirit to speak through them. When the Holy Spirit speaks through the elect, every person of every language will understand the words.

Reference: Acts 2

1. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

8. And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death and the father the son: and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

Death is one of Satan’s roles. Why would family members betray each other to be delivered to death (Satan)? Because the lost believe that Satan is the true Christ and they believe these family members need to be converted to save them. So, they deliver them to death in the confusion.

Reference: Matthew 10

35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

37 He that loveth father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me.

38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after Me, is not worthy of Me.

13 And ye shall be hated of all men for My name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end the same shall be saved.

Revelation Study

Revelation 20

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Satan has many roles and names which is reference to the same entity: Dragon, Serpent, Devil, Son of Perdition, Anti-Christ, Death, Angel of Death, King of Tyre, the tempter, the accuser, the little horn, the vile person.

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

1000 year millennial reign of Jesus and those who did not follow Anti-Christ. Satan will have no influence during this time, allowing the confused to be taught the truth.

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in the hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Beast and image (world political and economic systems merging in to a religious system)

One world religious system = Babylon = Confusion / Deception

Mark of the Beast / 666 Analogy (6th Seal - 6th Trump - 6th Vile)

1> a stone in a stream worn smooth over a very long period of time or long standing deception (see above II Thessalonians 2:7)

2> belief leading to great deception developed through a> false teachings b> lack of knowledge c> traditions of men

What is in your forehead? Your mind. What is in the hands? Your works.

Reference:  Ezekiel 3

7. But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.

8. Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.

9. As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

The dead were those that were deceived with body and soul able to withstand 1000 years of teaching period. Those who did not follow the Beast and Anti-Christ will have eternal body and soul through 1st resurrection at return of true Christ. ALL (good the bad) were changed that were on the earth at the coming of Christ.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them,

God is a consuming fire and these souls will be consumed (cease to exist, gone forever). Satan, his deceptive system, and his followers will forever exist no more.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

This torment is 1> before judgment is the pending doom like being on death row, and 2> after judgment is not existing to enjoy eternal life. This ultimate torment is the permanent death of the soul. We know this life in the flesh will end and gives us a taste of the horror. In this life, we do not have full knowledge, but, after judgment everyone will have knowledge in detail making the second death much worse.

Rest of Chapter 20 deals with the white throne judgment and end of 2nd earth age. Chapter 21 deals with beginning of 3rd earth age and eternity.  It is important to realize that God will not allow Satan (or Satan’s children, his angels, nor his beast system) to harm one of Gods elect physically during the reign of Anti-Christ. However, the system will attempt to mentally harm God's servants (the elect) by deception. Only the two witnesses will be slain for the world to witness.

Comfort for the Elect

Daniel 3

19. Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

20. And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

21. Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

22. Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

23. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

24. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellers, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

25. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

26. Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

27. And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellers, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the furnace for refusing to idol worship.  They were protected by the Son of God.

Daniel 6

16. Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

17. And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.

18. Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.

19. Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.

20. And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

21. Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.

22. My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

23. Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

Daniel was thrown in the lion’s den for worshipping the true Lord.  Even though in the Old Testament, the book of Daniel was an example of the last days.

Zephaniah 3:

12. I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the Lord.

13. The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

Luke 18

7 And shall not God avenge His own elect, which cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them?

8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?

Final Thought

Revelation 1

20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Rev chapters 2 and 3 explains why only two churches (Philadelphia and Smyrna) are standing before God.

Revelation 11

4:  These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Deuteronomy 18

21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?

22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Since the Church is not mentioned after Revelation Chapter 3, many times it’s taught that this shows that the Church has been raptured away. Here is something to think about; if we exclude books that don’t mention churches in the New Testament alone we’re looking at Mark, Luke, John, 1&2 Peter (other than title), 1&2 Epistles of John. So are we to use this as an argument?!?  Remember, the word "Rapture" is not used one single time in the King James Bible.  Check it out for yourself.
