It is important to understand who and what angels are. In both Greek and Hebrew, angels are defined as messengers. Many times angels are described looking like animals; however this is simply symbolism to show certain qualities. Angels physically appear as men. It is important to note that in Genesis 1:26, that God said, Let us make man in our image. So, God was not alone before creating man.

Genesis 1:

26. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

God and Satan are referred to as angels.

Exodus 3:

1. Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.
2. And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
3. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
4. And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
5. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
6. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
7. And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
8. And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
9. Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
10. Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
11. And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
12. And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
13. And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14. And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Ezekiel 28 identifies Satan (King of Tyrus) as a cherub. A cherub is a powerful angel that guards and/or protects. Eden is heaven, and the "Stones of Fire" is thought to be the throne of God. This shows that Satan was loved by God, until he became jealous and wants to be God himself. Satan has already been judged showing that he is the "Son of Perdition". Perdition means cease to exist or gone forever.

Ezekiel 28:

11. Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
12. Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the Beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
18. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
19. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be an
y more.

Angels have more in common with men than many may realize. Just like people, there are good angels and bad angels. Satan had had free will to follow God or Satan. Angels have a physical body and eat food such as manna. Whether or not they have they require food is up to speculation.

Gensis 18:

1. And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
2. And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
3. And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
4. Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
5. And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
6. And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
7. And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.
8. And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

Angels have used vehicles for transportation (wing). Whether or not they require transportation is up to speculation, however since the transportation had to be created it is probably needed. It should be noted that the color "amber" is a highly polished bronze. The four "living creatures" are cherubim’s inside the four "wings" guarding the throne of God. Four vehicles moved together at the same time in formation, and they did not have to turn. The cherubs were inside the vehicle; vehicle was bright possibly from propulsion. You must remember that Ezekiel at that time did not have the words to explain in detail what he was seeing.

Ezekiel 1:

1. Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
2. In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,
3. The word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was there upon him.
4. And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

Whirlwind describes possibly the vehicle or the disturbance from the propulsion system. Amber should have been translated "a highly polished bronze".

5. Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.

Living creatures are four Cherubim’s which have the appearance of a man.

6. And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.

Each vehicle (wing) has a Cherub on board.

7. And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.

Landing gear were flat with indentions on bottom; brass in color.

8. And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.

A Cherub controlled each vehicle. Since a Cherub was inside each vehicle, the vehicle and cherub move together.

9. Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.

The vehicles moved together in such tight formation, they have the appearance to be joined. Vehicles do not turn, they simply go straight.

10. As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

Jacob (Israel) had twelve sons, and each of them is associated with the twelve constellations of the Zodiac.

1> The "Man" represents the Tribe of Reuben (South);
2> The "Lion" represents the Trive of Judah (East);
3> The "Ox" represents the Tribe of Ephraim (West);
4> The "Eagle" represents the Tribe of Dan (North).

The Stars Also (Zodiac) Appendix 12 From The Companion Bible

Numbers 2:3. And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies:
Numbers 2:10. On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben
according to their armies:
Numbers 2:18. On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim
according to their armies:
Numbers 2:25. The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north
side by their armies:

Do these creatures sound familiar? Both in Ezekiel and Revelation these creatures are guarding the throne of God.

Revelation 4: 1. After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5. And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6. And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
7. And the first beast was like a
lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as aman, and the fourth beast was like a flyingeagle.
8. And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
9. And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
10. The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11. Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

11. Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

Cherub and vehicles were high, moving in formation in two pairs. Vehicles surrounded the Cherub because they were inside.

12. And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.

Vehicles (with Cherub inside) went straight in the direction instructed by the cherub; without making turns.

13. As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

Cherub’s themselves appear with fluxuating brightness, possibly due to being inside the vehicle.

14. And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.

Cherub’s move to-and-fro extremely quickly.

15. Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.

One vehicle with cherub landed on ground.

16. The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

Four vehicles were alike. Appears to have ridgeline on each disk; possibly wide ring at middle with smaller ring above and below the base of the disk.

17. When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.

Vehicle looked like a wheel lying on its side (not vertical like a wheel mounted on a cart). Again, they do not make turns.

18. As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.

Vehicle looks dangerously high in flight; possibly containing windows round the ridges.

19. And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

Cherub is inside the vehicle.

20. Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

Cherub directs and moves with vehicle.

21. When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

When the vehicle moves or stops, the cherub inside the vehicle moves or stops with it.

22. And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

Cherub looking through clear windows on the vehicle.

23. And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.

The vehicle did not have to flap like a bird to remain in flight.

24. And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.

The vehicles made a mighty noise in flight. They land and no longer in flight.

25. And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.

A heavenly voice was heard after the vehicles landed.

26. And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

The throne of God descended from the sky.

27. And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.

The brightness of the glory of God.

28. As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

Glory of God appears as a rainbow. Ezekiel bows to God and hears his voice.

Angels appear to be the souls in the heavenly realm with manlike qualities. Christians are servants of the Living God in the flesh and Angels are messengers of God in the heavenly realm. Angels are possibly simply men that are not on this earth as flesh man. Also, going back to Genesis 1:26, we see that God was not alone when creating man. Do not quickly dismiss that souls of men as angels were with God during the beginning of this earth age. Neither, quickly dismiss you may have been an Angel before and after this flesh life. Remember that God hated Esau before he was ever born. Why would God create a being to be hated? God created us to love him, but he may have had some time to learn to dislike Esau. We all deserve the lot in life we have and God is just and fair.

Mark 12:

18. Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,
19. Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man's brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
20. Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
21. And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.
22. And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.
23. In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.
24. And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
25. For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
26. And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
27. He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

Romans 9:

13. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
14. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
15. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

How could God hate someone before they were born? Do you think our Father would create a soul only for the purpose to hate it or to teach us a lesson? The reason God hated Esau is because he knew this souls trait before he was born of woman.

Fallen Angels and Nephilum

The "Serpent" is Satan, in the guise of an Angel of Light. Satan mated with Eve, producing a hybrid entity being Cain. Satan did this in an attempt to TAINT Eve's Womb; so that Jesus Christ could not have been born. There is a false premise throughout The World of Christianity which is that Lucifer and The Angels cannot produce flesh offspring.

Genesis 6:

1. And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

Men: Strongs Number 120 - Transliterated 'adam - Phonetic: aw-dawm'

Text: from 119; ruddy i.e. a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.): --X another, hypocrite, common sort, X low, man (mean, of low degree), person

Note: Men here are the offspring of Adam; being those with the ability to show blood in the face or blush (ruddy complexion); the bloodline through Jesus would be born. The "daughters of men" are the female offspring of Adam.

2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3 And the said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Sons of God: A reference to The Angels; in fact, The Septuagint translates these verses as Angels. They are sons of God because they were directly created by God. The Giants were the children that were produced when the sons of God came unto The Daughters of Men (ha’adam’ Gensis 2:7)

Satan sent his fallen angels to disrupt the genealogy of Adam, because this is the bloodline in which the savior of the world would come through. The fallen Angels mixed with the daughters of Adam to produce the giant Nephilim (adamic and angelic hybrid). Noah and his family were the only perfect generation (or pure Adamic race) at that time, so God sent the flood to rid the world of the giants. Notice in Job 1:6, 2:1, and 38:7, Angels are translated as sons of God, and in Psalm 89:6 Angels has been translated sons of the Mighty.

1 Corinthians11 :

1. Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

2. Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.

3. But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

4. Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

5. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

6. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

7. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

8. For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

9. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

10. For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

11. Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

12. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

13. Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

14. Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

15. But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

In 1 Corinthians 11, it is saying that a man should act like a man and a woman should act like a woman. Like it or not, homosexuality is not favored by our Father. The fallen angels of the latter days (as in the days of Noah) will mingle with flesh Women. Women were created to conceive children by men; not by angels.

Hebrews 13:

1. Let brotherly love continue.

2. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

3. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

4. Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

2 Peter 2 :

1. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

3. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

4. For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

5. And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

6. And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

7. And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

8. (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

9. The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

10. But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

11. Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

12. But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

13. And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

14. Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

15. Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

16. But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

Jude 6.

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

7. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Many may believe that Angels producing offspring is opinion, however though not widely taught I believe this to be a fact which can be documented as shown above among other places. Now the following is purely opinion. The Nephilum offspring between fallen angels and women are very large, or giants. It is my opinion that Goliath was probably a Nephilum. If Nephilum are giants, it would stand to reason that Cain and his descendants would be giants also. Cain could have used his size to his advantage to kill Abel. For this reason, it is possible that God punished the descendants of Cain with a physical mark that they would be small is stature through this earth age to prevent them (Kenites) from physically take advantage of others.

Also see:

Deuteronomy 3:

11. For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

"The Rephaites (or Zamzummites, Anakites, and Emites) were a tall people group mentioned in the Hebrew Bible that lived between the Nile River and the Euphrates River during the time of Abraham (Genesis 15:17).

The Emites and Anakites were sometimes considered part of this group [1] but sometimes separate. The Bible records that God used the Ammonites to destroy the Rephaites in Deuteronomy 2:19-21. The giant size of the Rephaites is illustrated by the bed of Og, king of Bashan that was "made of iron and was more than thirteen feet long and six feet wide" (Deuteronomy 3:10-12). During the time of David, several Philistine warriors including Goliath, are considered Rephaites [2]."

Angelic War in Heaven and Earth

Just as on earth, there are good angels and there are bad angels. There are angels that band together, and also fight each other.Basicly, there are two opposing forces being the Fathers side and Satans side.In the eternity, the Father will overcome.God could destroy Satan and his followers at any time, but our Father would have to destroy some of his children that were led astray due to confusion; which to him is unacceptable. Our Father as the good shepherd will do whatever is necessary to find any of his lost sheep, including allowing his only begotten son to be sacrificed by the Kenites.God will not put us through something that he is not willing to do himself.Since the attempted overthrow of Satan, our Father uses Satan to find out exactly who are worthy of eternial life. After our Father has found out who is worthy beyond any doubt (since each soul ultimately has freewill), Satan will be destroyed at the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ. Not only will Satan and his followers be destroyed, but also any memory of those souls will cease to exist; as if they never existed.

In Daniel Chapter 10, the angel is speaking with Daniel.  Satans band (at the time of Daniel here is refered to as the "kingdom of Persia") is attempting to prevent the Lord from speaking with Daniel.   Notice Daniel "was morning three full weeks" AND the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood the Angel of the Lord "one and twenty days".  The archangel Michael restrained Satan to allow the angel of the Lord to speak with Daniel at this time.

Daniel 10:

1.  In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

 2.  In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.

 3.  I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

 4.  And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;

Hiddekel is the Tigrus River in modern day Iraq.

 5.  Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:

 6.  His body also was like the Beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

 7.  And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

 8.  Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.

 9.  Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.

 10.  And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.

 11.  And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.

 12.  Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

 13.  But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

 14.  Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

This vision will not affect Daniel nor the people that lived during his time.  These visions described by Daniel are for those of understanding in the latter days.  The book of Daniel is an overlay of the book of Revelations.

 15.  And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.

 16.  And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.

 17.  For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.

 18.  Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,

 19.  And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

 20.  Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

 21.  But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

The prince of Persia is symbolic to Satan in heaven during Daniels' time.  The prince of Grecia symbolic to Satan in the latter days; literally and historically at this time the prince of Grecia was Alexander the Great.  Michael is the arch angel that will boot Satan from heaven at the end.

Reference: Revelation 12:

 7.  And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

 8.  And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

 9.  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

 10.  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

 11.  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

 12.  Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Note:  In Daniel Chapter 11 verses 1-19 are history dealing with the unrest within the Arab world near the end times, while verse 20 is a pivot point for future events.

Daniel 11

 1.  Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.

 2.  And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

 3.  And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

 4.  And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

 5.  And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.

King of the south was Gamal Abdel Nasser, and one of his princes was  Anwar Al Sadat.

6.And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.

The Kings daughter is the religion of Islam.King of the north was the Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, also known as the Shah of Iran.

7.But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:

Ruhollah Khomeini prevailed over the Shah of Iran.

8.  And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.

9.  So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.

The exiled Shah of Iran had become unpopular in much of the world, especially in the liberal West, ironically his original backers and those who had most to lose from his downfall.  First he went to Egypt, and got an invitation and warm welcome from president Anwar el-Sadat.  Reluctantly, on 22 October 1979 President Jimmy Carter allowed the Shah to make a brief stopover in the United States to undergo medical treatment. The compromise was extremely unpopular with the revolutionary movement, which were against the United States' years of support of the Shah's rule, and demanded his return to Iran to stand trial.  This resulted in the kidnapping of a number of American diplomats, military personnel and intelligence officers in what became known as the Iran hostage crisis. Once the Shah's course of treatment had finished, the American government, eager to avoid further controversy, pressed the former monarch to leave the country.  He left the United States on 15 December 1979 and lived for a short time in the Isla Contadora in Panama. Finally he went back to Egypt where he died on July 27, 1980, aged 60. Egyptian President Sadat gave the Shah a state funeral.

 10.  But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.

 11.  And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.

 12.  And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.

 13.  For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.

 14.  And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.

The robbers of the people are the Kenites (Sons of Cain).

 15.  So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.

16.  But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.

 17.  He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.

Ruhollah Khomeini (King of the North) and his radical Islamic grass roots movement (daughter of women) was against the leadership of president Anwar Sadat (King of the South).

 18.  After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.

 19.  Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.

Anwar Sadat as the "King of the South" was powerful and considered the "Prince of Peace" by HIS people.  By trying to do what was right and just, he made many enemies including the growing radical religion of Islam.  On October 6th, 1981, before he was gunned down in cold blood, he looked at the murders and said his last words, "My sons".  A fatwa approving the assassination had been obtained from Omar Abdel-Rahman, a cleric later convicted in the U.S. for his role in the February 26, 1993 World Trade Center bombing.  This was the first time in the Egyptian history that the head of the Egyptian state was assassinated by Egyptian citizens. (Rare video showing Sadat's assassination)  No Arab leaders attended the funeral apart from Sudan's President Gaafar Nimeiry.

Sufi Abu Taleb (born 1925) served as Acting President of Egypt from 6 October 1981 to 14 October 1981, following the assassination of Egypt's third president Anwar Sadat. Upon Sadat's assassination, Sufi Abu Taleb was serving as Speaker of the People's Assembly from November 4, 1978 to November 4, 1983.

After the fall of Anwar Sadat, as a watchman we should look at events going on in Egypt.  After the death of Anwar Sadat, his vice-president Hosni Mubarak has been Egypts' president.

 20.  Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
